Consul General calling on H.E. Mr Wang Quan, Mayor of Wuxi

Consul General called on H.E. Mr Wang Quan, Mayor of Wuxi on 2nd February and discussed ways and means to further deepen the economic and cultural engagement between India and Wuxi. Consul General requested Mayor’s support for organizing an India-China (Wuxi) Business Seminar in end March to promote investments from Wuxi into India. A proposal to organize an India Cultural Week was also discussed. Mayor welcomed Consul General’s proposals and assured fullest support from Wuxi Municipal People’s Government in organizing the proposed activities.
