Consul General meeting with Madam Xu Feng, Chairperson of Shanghai Women's Federation

Consul General called on Madam Xu Feng, Chairperson of Shanghai Women’s Federation (SWF) today and discussed ways and means to further institutionalize annual cooperation between the Indian Consulate and SWF. During the meeting it was discussed that Indian Consulate along with SWF could consider organizing an Indian Film Festival and Food Festival later this year in Shanghai. Consul General also requested SWF to assist in organizing International Day of Yoga 2016 for all women Yoga lover from Shanghai, with assistance of SWF. Chairperson SWF welcomed the proposals and looked forward to working with Indian Consulate and implementing these.
