Consul General’s interaction at Shanghai International Studies University (April 20, 2016)

Consul General Prakash Gupta paid an official visit to Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) today and called on President Cao Deming at SISU premises.  During the visit, it was discussed to further deepen educational and cultural linkages with SISU through the organization of a India Culture Week, as well as through the set up of an India Study Centre at SISU. 

Separately after the interaction with President Cao Deming, Consul General interacted with Chinese students at SISU who were learning Hindi language.  Presently there are 12 Chinese students learning Hindi at SISU, along with a Hindi Chair who is on deputation from ICCR.
