​          As part of efforts to take the consular services to the doorsteps of Indian citizens residing in Eastern China Region (ECR) the Consulate General of India in Shanghai organized a one-day Consular Camp at Yiwu city in Zhejiang Province, China on 26th February, 2022. The camp was organized at the Buyers’ service center of Futian market authorities.

  1. ​ During the camp, applications for reissue of passports, Police Clearance Certificates (PCC) among others were accepted. Further, attestation of educational certificates, authorization letters, NRI certificates, power of attorney(PoA), affidavits etc. were provided on the spot. More than 80 Indian nationals living in Yiwu city benefited from the initiative. The consular camp helped Indian nationals in Yiwu who found it difficult to travel to Shanghai due to various reasons.

    3.​   The Consular team consisted of Mr. Utpal Sannyashi, Consul (Consular), Mr. Amar Pratap Singh, Assistant Consular Officer and, Ms. Tina Yang and Mr. Mao Wenfei who are staff members of CGI Shanghai.  Mr. Ni Jian Yung, Chief of Consular affairs of Foreign Affairs Office of Yiwu Municipal People’s government also visited the venue and met the visiting Consular team.
