Indian Pavilion at CPhI China inaugurated at the Shanghai New International Expo Center today

Consul General inaugurated Indian Pavilion at CPhI at the Shanghai New International Expo Center during the ongoing exhibition in Shanghai today. The Indian Pavilion featured participation from 29 companies who had come from India under the banner of Pharmaceuticals Export Promotion Council (PHARMEXCIL). Most of the participants were already selling intermediates or API’s into the Chinese market. In addition, a large number of Indian companies (another 20 pharmaceutical companies) also participated independently with individual booths. During the discussions with PHARMEXCIL it was proposed to organize an Indian pharma sector specific event on the sidelines of the exhibition next year.
