Prof K.V.Thomas, Hon’ble Minister of State for Agriculture, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution visits Shanghai

 

At the invitation of the Chinese State Grain Administration, Prof K.V.Thomas, Hon’ble Minister of State for Agriculture, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public accompanied by Shri Siraj Hussain, CMD, Food Corporation of India, Shri B.B.Pattanaik, MD, Central Ware Housing Corporation, Shri Naveen Prakash, Joint Secretary(Agriculture) & Dr.B.Ashok, Private Secretary paid a visit to the Waigaoqiao Grain storage facility of Liangyou Group located in Shanghai on 10th June 2010.

    Mr.Meng Hong En, Vice Leader of Shanghai Grain Bureau, Mr.Zhang Hua, Vice-General Manager and host of senior officials of the Shanghai Liangyou Group welcomed the Hon’ble Minister and the delegation.  A presentation was given to the delegation about the Group, which was followed by a site visit.
