The 5th India-China Trade and Investment Conference organized by India-China Economic and Cultural Council (ICEC) and Nantong Municipal Government was held in Nantong on 16-17 September 2010. A 65 member SME delegation led by Shri Uday Kumar Varma, Secretary, Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) attended the conference. Dr. Shashi Tharoor, MP, Lok Sabha; Dr. Abid Hussain, Chairman ICEC; Shri Pramit Pal Chaudhury, Foreign Editor, Hindustan Times; Dr. Sreemati Chakrabarti, Director, Institute of Chinese Studies and Shri Dinesh Rai, Former Secretary, MSME from India participated in the Conference. The delegation later visited Suzhou & World Expo in Shanghai.
