Consulate organized a India-China business cooperation seminar in Nanjing on 28th June 2013. The Seminar was organized in collaboration with the Nanjing Municipal Government and China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Nanjing sub-council. Ms. Hua Jing, Vice-Mayor of Nanjing was the chief guest and gave the key note address. The seminar provided detailed presentations on opportunities for investment in infrastructure and other sectors for Chinese companies; investment policies of India and options that existed for Chinese companies to channel their investments; as well as experience sharing by Indian companies that have invested in China (Tata Autocomp and Mahendra Satyam) and Chinese companies that have been operating in India (CSR Puzhen and Sinoma International). The presentations were followed by a question and answer session.
