Delegation from Ministry of External Affairs visits Shanghai Institutes for International Studies
Joint Secretary (Eurasia) Mr Ajay Bisaria, accompanied by Joint Secretary (Energy Security) Mr Prabhat Kumar & Under Secretary Mr Rajesh Uike, from the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi visited Shanghai Institute for International Studies and met Director of SIIS Academic Committee Prof Yang Jiemian, Director of the Center for Asian-Pacific Studies of SIIS, Prof Zhao Gancheng and Assistant Director of the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies, Dr Wang Weihua on August 15, 2013. The two sides discussed issues like energy security and Indian & Chinese approach to political and economic relationships with Central Asian countries. The Indian delegation was in China for the first India-China dialogue on Central Asia in Beijing on 12 August 2013.
